Join the never-ending party at our craft beer extravaganza! Our Porter Beer spread is a magical blend of PA-brewed porter, giving it a velvety texture with a touch of caramel and coffee. We jazzed up our sloppy joe recipe with this spread, transforming ordinary sandwiches into mouthwatering delights. Cheers to flavor town!
Ingredients
-
½ cup Small Batch Kitchen Porter Beer spread
-
1 ½ pounds ground beef
-
12 slices of bacon, chopped
-
½ cup ketchup
-
¼ cup Dijon mustard
-
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
-
1 ½ cups shard cheddar cheese, shredded
-
Pickle slices for garnishing
-
Brioche buns
Directions
In a large skillet, cook the bacon on medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes or until crispy but still bendable
Remove the bacon from the pan and drain all but two tablespoons of the fat
Add in the beef, lower the heat to medium and cook
Cook until well browned (5-6 minutes) then add in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and Small Batch Kitchen Porter Beer spread and mix well
Crumble the bacon, then fold bacon plus the cheese into the mixture for about a minute
Toast the buns then add the mixture to them and top with additional bacon and pickles (if desired)
